Your review

The problems you missed come back over the next days, a little further apart each time you get them right, until they stick. Do the ones due today, then come back tomorrow.

How the review works

worked out from the problems you checked
  1. 1 day
  2. 3 days
  3. 7 days
  4. 14 days
  5. learned
  • A problem you miss is due again 1 day later. A miss is anything but right first time: a wrong first Check, one that needed a hint, or Show me the work before checking.
  • When it’s due, get it right first time, or a new one like it, and the wait grows: 1 → 3 → 7 → 14 days.
  • Right first time after the 14-day wait: it’s learned and leaves the queue.
  • A miss at any time sends it back to 1 day, learned or not.

“Like it” means the same helper and the same tab (Fractions · Simplify, say). Problems of one kind share one place in the queue, so missing three of them doesn’t give you three to redo; the newest miss is the one shown.

Only an answer on or after the day it’s due moves it along. Trying one early is fine, but if it’s right it doesn’t count (it’s too soon to show you remember it); if it’s wrong, it starts again at 1 day.

Problems from practice sets and the problem of the day count. Flash cards have their own review (their boxes), so they aren’t here, and Tutor me doesn’t count.

Private by design. This page is worked out in your browser, each time it opens, from the practice kept on this device (the same record as your progress). Nothing extra is saved and nothing is sent anywhere.
